K1 Series
Modernist structure. Adaptive comfort.
Inspired by mid-century modern seating, the K1 Series pairs a continuous chrome frame with adaptive ash slats. The chair and barstool share a familiar architectural language while allowing the seat and back to respond more naturally to the body.
Series
One design language. Two ways to sit.
The K1 Chair and K1 Barstool share a continuous chrome frame, natural ash slats, and a responsive seating surface. The repeated material and construction language connects both forms while allowing each to serve a different place in the home.
In Development
K1 Chair
The K1 Chair brings the adaptive slat concept into a dining-height form. Ash slats shape the seat and back while the continuous chrome frame gives the chair its light, architectural structure.
Coming Soon
K1 Barstool
The K1 Barstool carries the same adaptive slat construction and chrome-frame language into counter-height seating. Its cantilevered form gives the series a familiar modernist presence while remaining suited to contemporary residential interiors.
Recognition
Rooted in an award-winning design.
The K1 Series grew from Berry Schnetter's adaptive slat chair, winner of the Commercial Seating Award in the 2010 IWF Student Furniture Design Competition. K1 develops that original approach through new proportions, materials, and applications, carrying the adaptive slat concept into a coordinated chair and barstool family.
